Where are Courchevel and Méribel located?

Both resorts are situated in the Savoie department, just 15 minutes apart from each other. They are also 25 minutes from Moutiers, 45 minutes from Albertville, and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Chambéry.

What are the altitudes of Courchevel and Méribel?

Courchevel is composed of six villages, ranging from 1,300 meters to 1,850 meters. The bottom of the slopes starts at 1,100 meters and the highest point of the resort is at 2,700 meters.

Méribel, on the other hand, is also divided into several sectors, starting from Les Allues at 1,100 meters and ending at Méribel Mottaret at 1,700 meters. The top of the slopes reaches 2,950 meters.

What are the nearest airports and train stations to reach Courchevel and Méribel?

For airports, the most convenient options are Chambéry, Geneva, Grenoble, and even Lyon. Additionally, you can take the train to Chambéry, Annecy, Albertville, Geneva, Grenoble, and Bellegarde. From the airport or train station, we offer a private shuttle service to reach Courchevel or Méribel.

What weather can you expect during your vacation in Courchevel and Méribel?

Typically, it's during the months of November and December that snowfall is abundant in the Alpine resorts. The altitude of Courchevel and Megève then allows them to maintain excellent snow conditions throughout the winter season.

January and February can offer beautiful sunny days, but with cold temperatures. Therefore, it's essential to bring accessories to protect yourself from both the sun (high UV protection sunglasses and sunscreen) and the cold (thick gloves, neck warmer, thick ski jacket, warm T-shirt, fleece, etc.). March and April are also good months for skiing and may experience new snowfall.
