What is the altitude of Tignes?

The municipality is spread across 5 villages. The village of Les Brévières, near the Tignes dam, is at an altitude of 1,550 meters, Tignes 1800 is at 1,800 meters, Le Lavachet is at 2,100 meters, Tignes le Lac is at 2,100 meters, and Val Claret is at 2,300 meters.

The ski area ranges from 1,550 meters, at Tignes les Brévières, to 3,450 meters, the highest point of the Grande Motte Glacier cable car.

The resort is part of the Tignes - Val d’Isère complex, which boasts 300 km of slopes and ranks as the sixth-largest ski area in the Alps. Enjoy it all winter long, thanks to its ideal snow conditions and an opening period that extends from late November to early May.
