Pioneer of the Peaks: a nature and mountain-themed activity for your team building day
Adventure awaits you alongside our experienced mountain guides! Embark on a journey into the unknown along a path filled with challenges and discoveries.
During your expedition, you will explore the snowy landscapes of our beautiful region, while our guides share their knowledge and expertise with you. Through this team challenge, they will introduce you to their world, and you will learn essential concepts in the realm of mountaineering while engaging in fun tasks against rival groups. Rope knots, snow science, avalanche rescue devices, cartography, and the local flora and fauna, among other topics, will soon hold no secrets for you!
What better way to experience true immersion in the daily life of our guides and the Savoyard atmosphere? Additionally, this activity takes place in the heart of nature, at the foot of the most beautiful Alpine mountains! Whether under the watchful eye of Mont Blanc in Chamonix, amidst the grand landscapes of Megève, or near the Vanoise National Park in Méribel or Val d’Isère, you will enjoy both the challenges and the stunning panoramas around you! We also designed this activity as a reflection of daily life in the workplace: teamwork, communication, precision, and practical application with your colleagues are other key aspects we wanted to highlight in this challenge. Thus, in a spirit of team cohesion and working hand in hand, strive to win as many tasks as possible!
The goal? To grasp the essential keys to mountain life and collaboration, and to leave with the winning prize!
The outline of your team building in the mountains
Upon arrival at the challenge location, we welcome you with a light snack to warm you up before we begin. Our facilitators will brief you on the morning or afternoon activities and the challenges that await. Next, it’s time to form teams. This can be done randomly or with a list provided by you beforehand if you wish to create groups of colleagues who know each other less or who don’t often work together.
When the team-building event starts, each team sets off with a guide for the first Pioneer of the Peaks challenge. Your facilitator will then note the winner and send you to another challenge to meet new opponents. For about two hours, you will learn the skills of our guides and then need to replicate them perfectly and as quickly as possible, either in groups or in relays, competing against different teams.
At the end of the challenge, after facing all the teams, you will have certainly earned a snack! Debrief with your colleagues over a hot drink while the facilitators tally the points. Then, it’s time for the award ceremony and to applaud all the participants! And of course, we won’t forget the group photo in a breathtaking natural setting to keep as a memory of this memorable mountain adventure!
